Myself, Barun Bhattacharya, a resident of the bustling city of Basirhat, was no stranger to overcoming challenges. In 1998, with a vision to bridge the digital divide in his community, I, embarked on a daring venture - founding a computer training centre at Taki, West Bengal,India. Armed with an unwavering passion for technology and a hunger to empower others, I, started small, operating out of a cramped rented space with just a handful of second-hand computers.

The early days were fraught with obstacles. Limited resources meant juggling multiple roles, from instructor to administrator to janitor. Skepticism from the community, unfamiliar with the nascent world of computers, further added to the uphill battle. Yet, I, persevered. I, poured my heart into crafting engaging and accessible curriculum, catering to diverse needs - from students seeking basic computer literacy to professionals aiming to upgrade their skills. I, leveraged my natural charisma and infectious enthusiasm to win over hesitant learners, building a strong rapport that transcended the classroom.

Slowly, word spread. Success stories of empowered individuals, equipped with valuable digital skills, became my best marketing tool. My centre christened "Webel Computer Training Centre, at Basirhat in 1999, Deganga in 2010 & Baduria in 2012" became a beacon of opportunity, attracting students from all walks of life. As the demand grew, I, expanded, acquiring newer equipment, hiring dedicated instructors, and even venturing into online learning platforms.

Today, "Webel Computer Training Centre, Basirhat, Baduria & Deganga" stands tall, a testament to my unwavering spirit and dedication. It caters to hundreds of students annually, shaping futures and fostering a tech-savvy community. My journey is an inspiration, a reminder that even the most ambitious dreams can take root with hard work, resilience, and a genuine desire to make a difference. My story continues to unfold, with new chapters waiting to be written, fueled by the same passion that ignited the spark in 1998 - a passion to empower individuals and bridge the digital divide, one byte at a time.
As the course coordinator, I believe in fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment for our students. This includes maintaining open communication channels and ensuring readily available resources to address any challenges. I curate our curriculum to stay abreast of industry demands, offering a diverse range of courses that cater to diverse student goals. Additionally, I prioritize fostering a collaborative atmosphere within the classroom, encouraging discussions and peer-to-peer learning to enhance the overall learning experience.
